First financial upgradation after pay revision has been held up due to non – receipt of clarification to administration unit of MTNL Mumbai from Corporate Office over certain issue. MTNLOA has taken up the same with CO and Corporate Office has promised to do the needful at an earliest
Accordingly MTNLOA has suceeded in getting requisite clarification by Corporate Office in this matter and more than 300 executives waiting for first financial upgradation would be benefited.
BURNING ISSUE OF IMOSITION OF TRAI PENALTY TAKEN UP BY MTNLOA
MTNLOA strongly protest the forcible imposition of TRAI penalty on the execuitves by MTNL Mumbai Management
The present burning issue of Imposition of TRAI Penalty on the Executives & non Executives by Management is taken seriously by MTNLOA
Accordingly MTNLOfficers Association has served a Legal notice to MTNL Mumbai Management on 21st June 2014 against forcible imposition of TRAI penalty only on middle level execuitves
Earlier MTNLOA Alone had taken up the Issue of Linking Lakshya Target with APAR & had succeeded. Similarly this time also MTNLOA is the only Executive Association for taking up this TRAI Penalty issue and is confident of overcoming this hurdle & settlement of the issue thereof, in favor of the Executives.
Also the Majority union has strongly revolted to this unilateral decision of the Management We sincerely thank our Chief Patron & Honorable M P Shri Arvindji Sawant and the Majority Union MTNKS for supporting the stand of MTNLOA regarding this Issue.

Good News for women employees in MTNL --- Grant of Child Care Leave to women employees working in MTNL
The issue of grant of Child Care Leave to women employeeshas been already taken up by MTNL Officers Association several times with MTNL Corporate office. Our Association had series of meetings with concerned authorities at DoT & MTNL Corporate Office for implementation of Child Care Leave for women employees in MTNL as it has been implemented in BSNL
And now we are pleased to inform all women employees of MTNL that as ar result of our consistent efforts, Corporate Office has issued the order for implementation of Child Care Leave to the female employees of MTNL
